Purpose
of the Workshop
The primary focus of the internationally acclaimed MESH* Support
Group Facilitator Training is individuals - of all ages - and their
needs. This Kinder - Adult Learners program prepares parents, educators
and other personnel to empower people to deal with these issues
in healthy and effective ways.
This intensive
3-day workshop is highly experiential and will teach participants
all the skills necessary to set up and facilitate a comprehensive
Support Group Program.

Purpose of
the Workshop
This workshop
is for anyone who has attended the M.E.S.H. 3-day Facilitator Training
and wants to increase skills for working with young people one-on-one,
classroom and group settings.
Topics covered
include group conflict mediation skills; personal and professional
boundaries; victim, rescuer and persecutor triangle; skills for
working with challenging youth; advanced group skills; reframing
negative behaviour; skills for working with your co-facilitator;
transition wheel: cycles of change; adult resiliency; dealing with
staff stress new support group; new activities; 5 experiential
groups.
